creative packaging for mixed cds?

craftgrrlyes i know its been asked a bajillion times. and yes i scoured the memories quite thoroughly, that said:
i plan on burning several discs worth of delicious smashing pumpkins bsides, demos, unreleased, and otherwise hard to come by goodies for a friend of mine. a recent pumpkin fan - he only has the basic albums and since i have 10gbs worth of fun stuff i thought id share the joy. however its just no fun to get cdrs for christmas no matter how great the contents. so im trying to think of interesting ways of packaging them. i had the rather brilliant idea to put all the cases in a plastic pumpkin halloween pail - but unfortunately i had this rather brilliant idea in late november. blasted.
so...any ideas how to package up some pumpkiny things? or alternately any idea where to find a kids pumpkin halloween pale in late november?
