Opinions on Stitch and Bitch book?
Nov. 30th, 2004 11:49 amHello!
It's my friend's birthday and she recently took up knitting. She has made a couple of scarfs and that's it. I thought I might like to get her the two Stitch & Bitch books for her birthday. Are these books suitable for a beginner? Or are they more advanced? I want to get her something she can use now, but that she'll be able to grow into as she progresses more....any opinions on these books would be great. I am sure there are tons of good knitting books, but not being a knitter myself, these are the only ones I have heard of and that seem "hip."
Thanks in advance!
