I made the most awesome bracelets today. I made them from the guide in Bust seen here (and a few posts back): GO BEHIND THE CUT. And I apologize ahead of time for the crappiness of my digital camera. I think they're waaaay cuter in person.

The inspiration

This was a very cheap project.

Piece of black leather, 8.5x11" sized: 5 bucks
Vinyl (three colors), 2in of each: 60 cents!!!
Thread: 15 cents
Needles: 1 dollah
Packing tape: buck sixty six.
Ribbon: 98 CENTS at Michaels.

After I got home, I realized I sew like shit, so I just used super-glue-like nail glue for most of the soco one and all of the kitten one. I think I'm going to buy a glue gun in the near future. I think the sewing thread would have made it look less sleek.


edit: i took a few SCANS of them. this worked MUUUCH better. here we go:

catastrophe. This one I made for my sister for Xmas. So SHHH!
It's a Something Corporate themed one.
"You don't do it on purpose but you make me shake/

It says "come on sweet catastrophe" and "babys" "breath" on two separate tin pieces. There's a small picture of baby's breath sealed by packing tape. And a few pieces of vinyl.


kitten...The metal says "I Am Not A Kitten". I cut a pop can (like suggested) and used a ballpoint pen on the side that had pop can writing so that the letters would rise up on the correct/blank side. AWESOME.
