Hello!! I have been trying really really hard to get all my damn Christmas presents done, to no avail thanks to upcoming finals week, blech. But, in the meantime, I have a few presents that I am unsure of and wanted the opinion of the wonderfully creative people on this community. So...

I am getting a friend a tea kettle, b/c she has to boil her water for tea in a pot (and since my boyfriend is her roommate I have to as well). I am just going to get her a used one at a thrift store or something, but I wanted to decorate it with stencils or something and that is my question, what kind of images would you put on a tea kettle?? And what kind of paint would you use for metal??

I also want to make shirts for the Cure songs Boys Don't Cry and Just Like Heaven, but I don't want to use an image of Robert Smith or a picture of a boy crying, so any ideas? I really would make shirts for any of the Cure songs, so any ideas for any other songs would be awesome as well :)

I am making my friend a hoop skirt, but it won't be done before Christmas and I want to make her some sort of creative I O U having to do with the hoop skirt...
