Beeswax sheets: for other than candlemaking?

Hello craftgrrl, long-time reader first-time poster with a long-shot question for you: I inherited some beeswax sheets from a pal who has just skipped town. Might there be anything else I could possibly do with these besides roll candles? I suppose this is the wrong kind of beeswax with which to make lip balm -- would it have additives unnecessary or unsafe to apply around the mouth?!
