Reason: I needed a portable project and I had all the supplies on hand!

erike! Mine turned out to be too big for me, so I felted them the lazy way - threw them in the wash (hand wash cycle with cold water) and hoped all would work out in my favor. I wouldn't recommend that method, but it worked! I wear these all the time - they are very comfortable and good for mild temperatures (like in Seattle, WA). Here is a picture of me wearing my lovely Topless Mittens during our Thanksgiving Decathlon - this is the most "Seattelite" I have ever looked.
