Dec. 8th, 2004 09:00 pmSo I just got a new laptop and it is my baby, because let's face it, I'm a nerd like that. Anyway, I need a bag for it, but none of the ones I'm finding are that great and they are made out of material i dont like (I'm picky about the feeling of certain materials). So I figured, why not make one..here's the question. I was thinking about adding some foam from Joanne's that is 1/4" thick inbetween the outside and inner lining, and making it fairly snug around the computer. Do you think that should be enough protection. I don't plan on throwing it around or anything, I just want to give it some protection. And I don't know that much about different materials. I need something that can hold the weight of a laptop. Do you think cuordory will be sturdy enough? Or is there a way to reinforce fabric to make it stronger (I think thats what interfacing is for?). Sorry this is so long winded and probably not comprehendable, I'm an artist not a writer. Thanks for any help.
I will post pictures too. I'm getting a cam for xmas.
