hi everyone. i'm new to the list and i'm going to post some random projects i've been doing on the train lately.
i think it's sort of funny that i am crocheting little cats all of a sudden. not very me, a little more cute-sy than the things i usually make. the thing is--i have a ton of yarn in the closet that i want to use up, and there hasn't been a need to make more hats (which can be viewed on my web site, email me to ask where it is). i've been dying to do some drawing or painting, but haven't had any time between riding the subway to and from work, and actually sitting at work all day. these animals have been a little more creative than the usual crocheting AND easy to do on the train to work.
i'm looking for feedback on how to get better photos, if anyone has any hints (about lighting, backdrops, quality). i'm using a 4 mp canon digital camera with a flash and the photos are still looking off.
this guy is about 16 inches tall. i made him with mohair blend yarn. he's a little holey, so some of the fiberfill is coming through

this little guy is only about 8 inched tall, made with a smaller needle
