Our winter sale for art club is next week, so I'm making a bunch of fleece hats to sell (I would take pictures, but I brought them all to school this morning).
I also decided to try making some wings after seeing this lovely pair made by
_adagio.
I think they turned out rather nice, even though they're kinda small due to the fact that all I had was 18 gauge wire and that wouldn't hold it's shape if I made the wings bigger.

The wings in action =0

...Then I made another pair, since I loved the first ones so much. When I first started painting these ones I got mad at them because They didn't turn out good, so they sat on my desk for two days before I finally worked on them again today, I think I like them better now that they're all sparkly and fabulous. I still need to put the ribbon on and stuff, but I'll do that tomarrow. =)

I think we're going to do a drawing where we jut have them sit out during the sale and anyone that wants to enter in the drawing can pay $1 or so to have their name put in. I'm so sad that I'm going to have to part with them (especially the first pair ;_;), but I reeeeally need to raise the money to get to New York this spring. =D
P.S.
bonnytymepyrate has an awesome wing tutorial.
