unwinding a twisted skein of yarn

craftgrrli was in tears last night trying to untangle this twisted skein of yarn i had bought. UGH, i didn't think it would be so difficult. anyway i bought 2 skeins of this berroco (http://www.berroco.com/images/hip-hop/hiphop_hank_500.jpg) and before i attempt to use it, i'd like some advice on how to unwind it without making a complete tangled, knotted, ugly disaster of it. thank you in advance!
