artist calendar

hi everybody! i'm making a calendar for my sister for christmas, using a work of art from a different artist she loves for each month. each half of the calendar is printed on a separate page. my problem is, how do i attach all the pages? i was thinking about punching small holes on the left and right of the page then using ribbon to tie them together... but if anyone has a more creative idea i'd love to hear it! thank you soooo much. oh, and here are two sample months so you can see what the pages look like:
