and then because i was no longer allowed the use of my mom's camera (which the above pictures were taken with), these are blurry because they were taken with mine, it says, "Sing like you think no one's listening" (it's from "Existentialism on Prom Night" by Straylight Run and quite possibly one of my favorite lyrics ever). The two beads not with the rest are the ones with music notes on them.



The lyric beads are fishtank filter hex beads, which I painted, wrote on, covered with clear nail polish, and then covered liberally in clear finish spray. The other beads are just some red and gold beads I yoinked from art class. I tried this before in art class for the jewelry unit (sort of - I did the music notes on beads part only, and I only did three and added them to a bracelet I made which I might take pictures of later - it was green and black with spring-y beads I made out of easily bendable wire, along with the music note beads) and I guess I didn't get enough clear finish on (I didn't have any clear nail polish in art class, hahah) because they smeared all over and got ink all over my wrist, because the sweat from your wrists will do that. So here's hoping I was thorough enough this time, I even soaked the beads in water after finishing them to get any excess ink off and make sure they wouldn't smear (they didn't).
