park it like it's hot
Dec. 26th, 2004 02:38 pmi have some questions about dyeing stuff...
last week i tried to dye my hot pink sheets, dark brown. i used an entire bottle of rit dye, added the salt, followed the instructions to a T. they came out looking like this dirty darkish purple color, they didnt dye evenly, and there are darker spots on them. i was so disappointed. should i just re-dye them with the same dark brown rit dye, or do something else? also, when i was watching the washing machine slosh the sheets around in the brown water, some of it splashed up onto my BRAND NEW threadless t-shirt. it looks like grape juice. how can i fix this?
