craftgrrl | I painted my plain wood table (Reply)

I got this table at Ikea - it's a plain unfinished wood top and metal legs that have to be screwed in to the table. I painted it the same light tan as my walls, and it looked so borring, so I painted a pattern of leaves and spirals on it with copper paint, and then put a clear gloss finish on it.

This shows the pattern a little better.

I don't like the black legs with it. I'm going to go back and get these legs which look a little more graceful. I'd like to paint the chairs copper if I can get any more of that paint. I'd put some leaves on them in colors. Otherwise I will do them in the same light tan with just a few copper highlights.
