Mod Podged Table

craftgrrlOkay, I checked the memories and couldn't really find anything to help me.
So I had this craptastic old tv table that I mod podged starburst wrappers onto. I sprayed it with acrylic sealer to seal it, but is it safe to eat off of? Also, I don't know exactly how many coats of sealer to put on to protect it from spills and whatever.
