i finished nick's box. didn't come out nearly as nicely as i hoped but i was also really lazy about it so that's my fault. whatever, he'll like it i'm sure. the two dates on the top are the day we met (top left) and the day we started "officially" dating and the day of our first kiss (top right).

the inside of the lid. the word parts are from the orientation schedule pamphlet from our student orientation where we met. i cut out the activity that we met each other at (the kickball tournament, heh) and then all of the things we did together for the rest of the weekend. and the pictures around it are all from those two days, including the first picture of us together ever taken (bottom right. we are both making the most ridiculous faces. granted, it was about 4 o'clock in the morning after an exhausting day.)

i was really sloppy with the words on the inside and the top. whatever.

and i changed the font to black on his book and it looks soooo much better.

also, since i found these today... i made these over the summer for my boyfriend. i don't think i ever posted them here:

i made the stencild myself, of course. i never use other people's stencils. i feel like it's cheating.

then i sprayed a canvas blue, used the opposite stencil, and sprayed white over it. i also put lyrics on the front (and secret lyrics on the wood on the back) later on.

and...

a test print of a stencil that i made of myself awhile ago. i never actually did anything with it but i'll probably spray a canvas of it soon. that is, once i decide to brave the cold of my garage and spray all the new ones that i just cut.
