hi i am new.
this is pretty much the best community i've seen.
lots of people spend the time to comment on other people's posts.
and lots and lots of creativity!!!


i'm pretty much been making bags because i'm rather intimidated by other projects, but i ventured onto a clutch tonight.


these are the things i did today.

of course, i made a few bags. the seahorse was inspired by 'the life aquatic.'







then i made a wallet using felt and fabric from an old skirt i had made. it's pretty neat, but it really needs some velcro to keep it shut. it'd probably work better had i used fabric instead of felt, but i don't have any interface right now. (nor have i ever used it!)

then i tried to make a clutch. it turned out pretty well. but still has some flaws that need to be worked out. trust me, it looks better than it really is. i like the flower i made up though. i think part of the problem had to do with the felt being quite bulky after being sewen and turned inside out twice. perhaps when i get some interface i'll get it another go. :)






that's it for now. i'm sure i'll get plenty more by the end of the week.
