The Best Fabric Glue?

craftgrrlYes I dutifully inspected the FAQ, but there's no entry for glue. I'll keep looking, but in the meantime...
What is the best glue for fabric on cardboard? I'm trying to make that totally adorable sewing box from the Omiyage book, and being almost exclusively a sewing person, I only have Elmer's around. I'm making myvery late Christmas Martin Luther King Day gifts, so they've got to look really good.
And if anyone has any other glue-ing hints and tricks, I'm glad to hear them.
