Another book
Jan. 7th, 2005 11:33 pmI finished my roommate's belated Christmas present today. (We agreed not to exchange gifts until after the break, so as to relieve stress a bit) It came out so well, I want to keep it for myself. Luckily for her, I put her name on the cover, so it would look pretty suspicious if I kept it.
Again, please excuse the webcam-quality of these photos. I KNEW I should have taken my real camera home.

The front. I used some paper I got at a scrapbooking store for the covers, and black cardstock, and some pre-made little paper roses. The book is 5.5"x8.5", by the way.

Just to show the roses better. They're layered paper, so they look really nice.

Her name. I used one of those shiny gel pens that were so trendy about two years ago.

I've moved on from using white typing paper! I got a ream of pastel "parchment" paper at Target, and it comes in off-white, gold, tan, and light blue, so I did a few of each color.
I really hope she likes it!
Now I have a question: I was recently blessed with about a bazillion photos from a photographer friend of mine. I'm going to hang a lot of them up, but there are just so many that I can't possibly hang them all. What else can I do with them? Each photo is regular paper size (8.5x11), not photo-size, so they're a little on the large side. However, I'm not averse to cutting them up. Suggestions?
