I'm making cigar box purses, and im trying to figure out a secure way to keep them closed. Given the way they are made, if the lid opens, there will go my stuff all over the floor (or with my luck in a puddle in the parking lot). So here's the question: If i wanted to use buckles with ribbon, what would be the best way to attatch the ribbon to the box? The one I'm working with now is a cardboard box, so it's too thick to staple, but I'm just afraid glue won't hold. Any advice?
