Jan. 9th, 2005 07:13 pmSo I hate it when people post to the site and start off by saying, "So I looked through the memories, but I couldnt find..."
And no matter what the question is, I swear it is something that has been posted within 48 hours, or is easily found by a few simple clicks in the memories section.
But so help me if i can find how to cast on when knitting.
I was all excited because over Christmas, my future sister-in-law taught me how to knit and bought me some needles and yarn. It has now been a full week since I got home, and heaven help me if i cant remember the way you place the yarn over your fingers to start casting on. I remember all the over under over under stuff... just not where the string actually lays.
I know this all sounds silly, but to a beginner who has yet to get herself in the habbit I just cant remember how.
Anyone have a clue? Well I am sure like 90% of you do, but does anyone happen to have a picture on hand?
