this first creation spun from a skirt I got at a garage sale.I wanted to do something
with PVC coffins and so I cut up some old PVC fabric and safety pinned them on to the skirt.
I'm going to safety pin on a coffin patch I got later, around the center

This was a plain black skirt I was looking to update.I got the shirt from vampress
on gothicauctions.com,and cut the shirt into two pieces.I then pinned the two panels
onto the front of the skirt.

This skirt had alot of different inspirations for it.I cut up an old lace shawl, and
safety pinned pieces in random places on the front, back, and side slits.I love the way it
trails behind me when I walk.

I found this men's blazer (yes, blazer.I have the shoulders of a line backer)
when I was dumpster diving.Originally,I was just going to keep it as a straight
black blazer for job interviews and such but I always wanted one of those
funky furry coats from the 90's that I could NEVER wear because of said shoulders.
so I cut up some fur I bought at walmart, and safety pinned the fur into the
cuffs and collar carefully.most of the pins are actually pretty well hid underneath
the fur ^.^ I made another one like this and sold it back in the summer, but one side
was longer than the other (I got the idea from kelis' cut up blazer she wore on SNL).
with the black of this blazer,I also cut up the front and added it to the back
to not only make it longer, but to make it look like those old fashioned men's tuxedo
blazers.

I made this shirt for the very first oddball last January. The shirt was originally
HUGE,but I cut the sides apart, and safety pinned them closer to give me a
closer fit. Then I wanted to do something with the actual sleeves,so I cut the
sleeves off the long sleeved shirt and made long flowing, kimono type sleeves with
some sateen fabric and I hooked them to the top of the sleeve with a chain of safety pins.

I started making this skirt when I was 18.I started with a simple black skirt,
and adding zippers. Then I added some black mesh fabric to the sides to have a fishtail
look. Then I started cutting up shirts with cool smart ass sayings on them, and adding them
on,along with some DIY patches.three years later,I have the coolest DIY skirt on the block.

I made this shirt for halloween of 2003.I cut apart an old shirt a friend gave me,
and pinned the eye in the center.I got some silky spider fabric along with lace
and added kimono style layered sleeves to the shirt. You can either pin the sleeves to have
them have a closer fit,or let them be loose.

This is a work in progress.because its a men's shirt,I've been struggling with
making new sleeves (when they were HUGE men's sleeves before).I added a gold trim
to keep the shirt from sagging on top,and some cute skull orchids to the sides.
I'm hoping to have this all done before I go back to school on the 31 so it looks
absolutely faboo ;) Btw,I'm Cherokee,blackfoot,filipino,dutch,irish,and mexican ^.^
I know most of them aren't *too* EGL (and I know they sure as hell aren't pure EGL items),but I still wanted to get some feedback on the design level. Most have some kind of gothic,JROCK,japanese streetwear,or lolita influence. Thanks for taking a look =D
