I need some Artistic Help

I am taking an art class this semester called "The Art of Horticulture" and I really want to incorporate knitting/fiber art into my final project since we will be discussing plant fibers and the like. I have an idea already to make a crapload of knitted/crocheted flowers- but I am not sure what to do with them. I really don't have any ideas except for a vague mosaic type thing but I am not sure exactly how I would accomplish that.
I was wondering if any of you had ideas for something that would be useful, artistic, or neat that I could do with a ton of knitted and crocheted flowers. I just want to brainstorm some ideas- be they far out or down to earth. Any idea is welcome!
