craftgrrl | Help with a 3D heart pendant?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get some help and hitting a few bead/craft/jewelry communities to see if someone can offer assistance.

For a couple years now, I've been trying to find out how to make a heart pendant in 3D with seed beads and crystal like one I saw at a craft show. Thanks to another beader, I found THIS PAGE which is very similar to what I wanted.

Problem is, that it's very Engrish and I'm utterly lacking in understanding of how to even begin. I've done beaded jewelry before (and still do), but never this woven type of stitched work. I really just don't get it when looking at it. (Like what is "upper right hexagon flower stitch motif" for example?)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to explain this idiot's guide style to someone who's never done it before. Or even point me in a direction of a how-to to get started in this sort of thing.

I'm sure this is a huge project for someone who's clueless but I'd really like to try it. I just don't know where to begin.
