Help??

I have a friend in the air force and he is leaving for korea in a few monthes. For xmas I planned out a bunch of stuff but now I have very little money to do any of it. Do any of ya have good ideas of something I could make a boy thats in the air force that he could actually use?? Any little tips would be very nice.
