so this is what i have been working on...

this skirt was made with some material i found at the goodwill clearence center. i love that place. .99 cents a pound clothing baby!

and

This was made from an old pair of "old man pants" that were lame. (who the hell started that trend anyways?) The material is almost like a canvas, so i didnt do a linning or interfacing. it was really easy. i think i am going to make another one and make a tutorial with it.

So i have a 50 year old singer sewing machine. its awsome and i love sewing with it, but it needs to be oiled and stuff. Can i get it serviced or something? and how much does this cost? thanks.
