Greetings. Long time stalker, first time craft-poster.
I've read a lot about those "pocket shrine" thingies, so awhile ago, I decided to make one for my boyfriend's (now ex-boyfriend) birthday. Yes, unfortunately, things didn't go right with him and I, so I still have it...

This is the front of the tin. I painted the outside with the average paints you find in the school supply aisle. Not sure what they're called, but anyway, when it dried, I coated it with that clear stuff that makes your nails dry faster. I ran of that and used the clear stuff that hardens your nails. I did all that just to make the tin shiny, instead of all chalky. Yes, lack of artsy stuff. ;)

Back.

Close-up of back.
"Sometimes, life just sucks. Be stronger."

Inside.

An old key and lock I found somewhere, painted our favorite colors, and included in the tin. I was going to keep the lock and give him the key.

I found this small plastic rose during a walk and placed it in the tin also.

Close-up of the inside of the tin.
"I asked for him. I got him."

Another close-up. That flower was actually a piece of one of my pajamas. I was trimming the pant legs and didn't want to throw the flower away.

'Nother close-up.

"Run away with me."

This was the song that always reminded me of him, and vice versa, I think.
"You could be from Venus.
I could be from Mars.
We would be together.
Lovers forever."
I also made the little snowman out of foam, since we had been planning to see eachother during December.
Thank you for your time.
