craftgrrl | acrylic/textile medium remover?

i looked in the faq-memories and didn't really see anything, also tried google.

anyone got any ideas for cleaning up messups on stenciled shirts...nail polish remover? glass cleaner? something?

i made a few stupid smears (in white paint+textile medium and blue paint+tex. med) and was wondering if there's a way to fix those. will nail polish remover wreck the color of the shirt (orange and light blue)...? i would love to try something.

hm. any help appreciated.

ps. threading the bobbins and stuff is kicking my butt. and i think i have the worst instruction manual ever made. but it's got three languages!!!
