I returned home yesterday from a pet store with a half a CoolWhip container filled with button quail eggs...probably 30-40 of them! I had no idea if I was able to use them, as they range in color from mint green, to olive, to dark chocolate brown with speckles. But EUREKA, it worked!
The pic is of an undecorated egg on the left (how they start out) and a decorated (sans varnish) on the right. Wanna SEE??
