Sock monkey and more

Here are some things that I made recently.




This is my first attempt at making a sock monkey. Next time I will definitely use a wool sock instead of cotton. The sock was falling apart as I was trying to sew it up by hand. I bought some red felt to make a little fez and a vest for this ugly monkey.







I was interested in learning how to embroider so I bought a kit from Sublime Stitching. Here is the towel that I made.
