Less stress, more crafting.
Feb. 6th, 2005 04:53 pmFirst I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who responded to that post I made concerning jewelry techniques with soldered jump rings. I'll be getting back to responding to those shortly. It gave me some excellent food for thought.
Sadly I have yet to recieve back my package of sculpted goods and jewelry that I created during Christmas break. As soon as I get it all back, I will be posting images.
Things have been rather stressful since classes started again. I have needed some serious creative release. Here are a few artistic things I've recently done.
Birthday art goodness for
nambroth. There was a huge surprise birthday giving for the floof, and try as I might to get this sculpt done on time so Vannie could get it put on the website, college stress had other things in mind for me. Better late than never.

Then there is the art I did to help
theregaltigress.
Traditional rough clay sculpt.

Inking to mimic an old European woodcut style. I am strongly considering how possible it would be to transfer this design to a real wood block, and see what sort of texture goodness I can get out of it. Any suggestions?

That's all for now.
Hopefully some jewelry to come later.
