CD paint chips
Dec. 7th, 2002 01:56 pmI have a question for you all again!
I was screwing around with a CD that hadn't burned right last night and tried to carve into it with some scissors. Well, all the holographic paint stuff started to chip off into little flecks. My crafty side went...woo hoo, pretty sparkles! This afternoon I took a chunk of polymer clay and rolled it around in a bunch of the sparkles to see how it would look. It is awesome. Black with sparkles...looks like the sky at night.
Anywho...this is my question. When I go to put the bead in the oven, will the paint stink up the house or burn and make a mess? There isn't much of it there, so I don't think it would be a problem if it smelled funny. I just am afraid of starting a fire or burning my bead.
Thanks!
