Alright, after going to the craft store and seeing how much the soap base was(and being broke)...I decided to look online. I looked at the warehouse site, but the shipping was way, way too high. So *struck by lightning* I tried ebay...and eventually won this:
Goat Milk soap base - 4 lbs
Castile soap base - 3 lbs
Aloe soap base - 1 lb
Extra Lather soap base - 2 lbs
Now...I know how I can use the Goat Milk and Aloe soap, but is it ok to make "regular" soap out of the Castile and Extra Lather...or are they specially formulated for certain things? I'm sorry, memories isn't working, and this is my first try at soap...Even just this M&P seems complicated!
Thanks!
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I am making soaps to put in baskets for my fiance's pregnant sister, and sister-in-law. The baskets will contain (when finished) baby quilts I'm going to make, onsies I plan on decorating(along with other cute baby things), handmade teddies, and stuff for the mothers to relax with: soaps, bath bombs, lotions, warming/cooling pillows etc. I will post tons of pics when I finish with this massive project!
