i have a cleaning question involving cat pee and something that doesn't fit in the washing machine very well...

so, one of my sweet sweet manly cats peed on my husbands (snow)board bag. the bag is just about as big as i am, so i don't think that the washing machine will help too much [since it can't freely move and all]. also, its that thick, canvas stuff that a lot of outdoors equipment is made of, and, having cats all of my life, i know that washing machines don't always cut out the kitty pee from said material. so...what do i do?

for the time being, i've coated the icky spots in baking soda, so there aren't any odors coming from the bag, but the smell is in the inside a bit, and i'm not sure what to do now.

try the washing machine, even though i don't think it'll help? give the bag a bath with vinagar (which i think i'll try right now)? get scrubby with mountain fresh tide?
