I cut the pattern and tack it onto Amoretta, my mannequin. She's exactly my measurements so she helps me decide if something fits before I make it.



This is not progress. This is two cats who like tissue paper.


I only use pins to mark where my darts will be. Otherwise, I use weights to keep down my tissue paper. Faster, more efficent and less puckering!


See where I put the pin? On a dart to mark it. You can also see where I modified the original pattern.


My marks. I prefer to trace the lines then cut. You can't see the pins that well.




I made the bow entirely too huge and ended up liking it. ^-^
