Lottery Earrings

craftgrrlI keep seeing all these earings that you girls are making and I so wish I had picture of the ones my Aunt Cathy and Aunt Marianne used to make.
The idea was that they kept losing on these dollar lottery tickets that they always bought and so they just got an idea to fold them in half and then into a fan and then shalac or mod podge them into earrings. They took there losings and made them into a productive win. They made some money off of them. I am not sure of the legalities of doing that at all, but they were pretty cute and funny and they sold them like crazy in the 80's and early 90's. I am not sure if they do it anymore, but they were fun to see.
I will try and see if my mom still has the pair they gave to her and post pics of them.
