hello, ladies and gents! i'm hoping to get a good suggestion or two on a peacoat i helped. over a year ago i found a well-fitting plain black peacoat in a thrift store, and after the shoulder pads were removed, it hasn't been touched. why waste a great coat? so, to save it from eternity in the hall closet, i added trim...

the pink leopard is from joann's, and the yellow is from a swatch i got from distinctivefabric.com. so what next? i'm thinking about buying some bubble fur, cutting out the bubbles and sewing them onto the lapels, or spot them randomly on the coat?

what would you do next?

also, a small concern, is that i feel it brings too much attention to my broad shoulders. how should i re-direct that focus if possible? if making my shoulders less obvious isn't possible with the lapels, its ok, because i love the coat anyhow - but i'm totally open for ideas!
