i gots me a question for all you crafty cats

i'm planning to mod podge my wall but i'm a little confused as to which mod podge to use. i want a matte finish, so i was thinking of getting the mod podge matte, but then i see they have mod podge specifically for walls. i predict that i'll be needing lots and lots of it, and i've found that i can get a gallon of the matte version. it's still okay to shellac on walls, right?

please help me!
