craftgrrl1) HAND WARMERS: How do you make these? PLEASE inform me! I was going to make mittens, but I don't know how to knit!
2) MAGNETIC BOARDS: I need slabs of metal that I can place magnets on. Put a coat hanger on the back and use that as a hanger (or do two! who knows?). I'm going thrifting soon (when the hell am I not thrifting in the spare time I have?!) and need to have some really great ideas as to things I can search for that can be used for this. Making them for friends as message boards.. along with magnets to go on them. Good stuff.
3) COASTERS: For my boyfriend's mom as well as his brother's fiance (both females who are pretty damn great!). I need help thinking of what to use as the bottoms.. I'm collaging them and using the "almighty" modge podge as my art teacher reffers to it. But I need ideas of any sort that would make it look utterly nice, maybe. Or anything that would work as like pot holders (you know the stuff that you put under a pan..). But Nancy (Max's mom) drinks a lot of coffee, so I figured this would be good to give her a set of these. Plus Chrissy (I'm giving her heart shaped ones so far - this is Kyle's fiance) drinks hot cocoa and that rocks the utter casbah, so I thought I'd save both of their surfaces and give them good ol coasters. Any suggestions/help would be muchly appreciated!
4) VINYL BOWLS (yeah I just added this one in): How to do this?!
5) BOWLS WITH WRITING AND COLLAGES ON THEM: I can go with the whole sharpie deal, but how to seal it? So you can still eat from it.. I'll be using glass bowls (you know, 80s kind of. The stuff that isn't clear and such..). Cereal bowls for most of my friends who are going off, college and such you know. Complimentary bowls :D
