craftgrrl | Hope im wording this right

Ok im gonna try to make sense here but im not promising anything! (LOL)
If I find a pattern online, free pattern (obviously) for a hat or something (crocheted)
Even if the pattern is copyrighted, I can still MAKE the hat and SELL them right?
Because im not selling the pattern, just the finished product?
Is that correct?
I just want to make sure, because im thinking of looking for a craft fair and getting a table, also selling some things on ebay because my crocheted hats and scarves are coming out AWESOME!!!
