Kool Aid Dying
Feb. 27th, 2005 07:14 pmWell someone posted about dying your hair with Kool Aid the other day... I have kind of medium brown hair, and I didn't want to do any drastic changes, so I just decided to use red cherry Kool Aid to put a few highlights in my hair. I just tried one strand first and it turned out pretty cool. I didn't bleach it first or anything, so it is just a strip of dark red. So now I am going to do more. Just thought I would put this out there for anyone who has been wondering about this process... it works and it's really cool!
Anyway I also have a question. Stupidly I didn't use any gloves doing this, and now my fingers are all red. Bah! Does anyone know how to get Kool Aid off your hands, or do I have to walk around like this for a week or so? Haha thanks for any help...
EDIT:: Aha, I found the post that had the instructions for it... This is where I got the idea: clicky :)
