Pixie Week

I had never head of "Pixie Week" until this week. My mother's church is doing it, and I think it's pretty cool. Pixie Week, according to this note they sent my mother, is sort of like a Secret Santa. The way my mother's church is doing it, each family in the church was assigned another family to give small gifts to all week long. It's supposed to be anonymous, so they're supposed to find a way to leave gifts without being seen. Also, they're supposed to give a gift for every person in the family--I think every day. This seems manageable, as some of the suggestions were very small things like handmade cards, letters, and even drawings from kids. The package we got--they even sent something for me, and I don't even go to church--included some small store-bought items and drawings from children. It was too cute. So, even though I don't go to church, I really liked this idea and want to help out with it. Plus, my mom's a little unsure of what to give.

I was thinking of making handmade paper ornaments and even small handmade stockings to stuff candy into, and I think we're also going to make some sugar cookies. I want to make Christmas-shaped cookies and place a cookie cutter in the gift bag for them. Does anyone else have any ideas that would be cheap but nice gifts to give, considering we have to give a family of six presents all week long? Thanks.
