i'm not usually the sort to ask for inspiration in such a direct nature, but i've had this immaculate, white denim levis jacket for a very long time and i want to do something with it. i usually wear a leather, but this jacket is calling to me. a blank canvas. the down side? it was originally purchased by a really big door man. so even though i've a rather sturdy frame, it is still huge on me.

my sewing machine doesn't work, but i'm open to hand sewing. i'd like to alter it as little as possible to make it look good, and i fear that change must come in the sleeves, which is a place i've never tread.

as far as painting it, stenciling it, whatever, i may cover it with buttons/pins, i may cover it will doll parts. it is just the sizing thing i need. if you've seen any sort of hip long coat (because it will be long no matter what alterations i do, i love the length), please drop a link in here. thanks ever so.
