This is mostly a vent...

Is anyone else really tired of seeing the word "vintage" splashed across everything? Everywhere I look it's "vintage" this and "vintage" that. I could have just bought it yesterday, but it's got that great "vintage" feel. I am just so sick and tired of the word vintage! RAAAHH!

Ok. I swear I'm okay now. Almost.

So question...
I painted this shirt for my beau for an Elvis Costello concert (i'll post pics soon) with some kind of fabric paint. It says to iron it to set it, but when i tried that with another shirt it ended up looking like I had burned the crap out of it even though I only ironed it for like... a couple seconds. Anyway, I'd rather not ruin this particular shirt, since we actually got Elvis Costello to sign it (score!), but does anyone know of any fool proof paints and setting methods to use in the future?
