Recycling stuff...
Dec. 11th, 2002 03:36 pmTwo great hints that I've picked up.
First of all, AOL cds are wonderful for catching hot glue droppings. I can never find the pad I bought for that, and the CDs are so plentiful...
Second, you can recycle Christmas cards in a new way. Cut off the message and signature from the back of the card, position over a gift bag so that fold is over the very top. Staple front and back of the card and bag together in one staple. Now it adds a fun festive touch!
Now you can recycle the cards to put on top of the recycled bag to hold the recycled gift. :)
I do have one cousin who loves Avon, and the rest of the family hates it. We set a bag out under the tree and as we get Avon, we drop it in there. Her birthday is the 28th, so we can show up with a Christmas gift and a birthday gift she'll love.
