OK, so I am in the market for a carryall/tote type bag to haul around all my work junk in....I am so in love with these kind of bags from Queen Bee Creations.  I wanted to get a tote from them, but the one I wanted was a bit too small to hold file folders and such...and the bigger ones were just too big...

So I sent them an email asking if it would be possible to get one of the bigger bags cut down smaller, or one of the smaller ones made bigger? I explained what I needed the bag for and said I'd pay extra to have one customized to my size specifications...they emailed me back, saying they could do what I needed and that they looked forward to hearing back from me. So I've emailed them back a few times now, and I'm not getting any response from them. It's been about 2 weeks...and I really don't want to wait too much longer, since it takes them a few weeks to make the bags...

So in the meantime, I had asked a question here about where I could get some of that vinyl...I thought I might try making my own...thanks to [livejournal.com profile] pinkninky , I found out what it was called and went to my upholstery shop where they did have a few colors of mellohide! But lets just say that preliminary experiments have not turned out well...

Has anyone seen any other places that sell this sort of thing? I want something arty/funky/DIY, but well made since my bags take a beating...I'm open to a very sturdy fabric, but I'd prefer vinyl...I really love those Queen Bee ones, I just don't know how long I can wait! Thanks for any help!

Edit: I just heard back from Queen Bee! Damn my impatience! I think I am all set. But if anyone has any links, I'd still love to see them as I always need more bags...
