A Challenge!
Mar. 19th, 2005 04:03 amHey there :)
This is my first time posting, but I'm not new to the community. I haven't done anything crafty in a long time, but veiwing the posts here, I'm definitely inspired....which brings me to the main reason I'm posting right now...
Ok, my dad has challenged me to a craft project (which I'm sure will be interesting enough with our lack of sewing skillz, lol) It all started when we were throwing ideas around for a bag to carry fishing poles in. He wanted to do something with denum, but me being the more complicated one, I said maybe vinyl would be better. So, he challenged me. I have $25 dollars and 1 week to construct a bag big enough to hold at least 4 or 5 poles...and maybe a seperate compartment to carry reels and other fishing supplies. I haven't measured the poles yet...but I basically want a cylinadar shaped bag...possibly made out of vinyl? with a strap of some sort that's kind of like a shoulder bag so that arms are free to carry whatever other items needed. I would really luv some ideas on how to get this together. Is it possible to do this with only 25 dollars? lol. I'll also be doing this all by hand. :-{
Can't wait to hear from everyone! :-D
