Mar. 20th, 2005 05:38 pmI've been promising to make my cousin a skirt for the longest time; she bought fabric for it, and I finally made it this week. That started my skirt-making frenzy: I've made five this week! Here's one that's a little older. It's made of silk, netting, and silk cherry blossoms.

There are two more
This one is for my cousin. It is a wrap skirt with hook-and-eye closures, a ribbon tie, frayed edge, and an asymmetrical hemline. The houndstooth pattern really flatters, the way it wraps!

This one is a really nice cashmere-wool blend! I love the color; the best thing is that I can wear it to teach in--mmmm!
