Birthday Card

craftgrrlI decided to make my mother-in-law's birthday card this year.
Original design, sketched then mocked up with plain computer paper.
Patterned scrapbooking paper glued to cardstock, scored and folded for slight 3D effect. Chartreuse Grosgrain ribbon glued to box, bow was separately tied then sewn onto box. Box was adhered using 3/8" thick adhesive dots onto dark chartreuse cardstock glued to lighter cardstock.
The interior has another square of dark chartreuse glued down with the birthday message handwritten in blue ink.
