am amusing myself today by typing and printing out some projects to add to
my craft notebook, so here's a couple more recipes i have. beer bread and
cranberry slush ...
Beer Bread
2 2/3 Cups Self Rising Flour
12 oz Beer, freshly opened, chilled or at room temperature
Heat oven to 375F. Lightly grease a 9x5x3in loaf pan.
Put flour in medium bowl, add beer, and stir until flour is moistened completely. Put in prepared pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes until top is lightly browned. Cool on rack for 5 minutes and take out of pan to cool further.
Variations: add 1cup (4oz) cheese, ½ cup sliced scallions, 1 ½ Tsp Poultry Seasoning
Cranberry Slush
32oz Cranberry Juice
28oz Ginger Ale (or 7up)
12oz Frozen Lemonade concentrate, undiluted
